Membership Types

1. INDIVIDUAL: Balancing our value for accessibility with sustainability, we ask members to choose the level that aligns with their financial capacity. For RIDA operations, we set the price at the Standard level. If you have the means, a Sustainer allows membership access for a more equitable community.

• Community Access $30

• Sustainer $60

2. ORGANIZATIONAL: Organizations include dance companies, presenters, studios, schools, and businesses.

• Non-Profit $100

• For-Profit $150

3. DUAL RIDA/NDEO: RIDA is the state affiliate partner with the National Dance Educators Organization. If you are an individual or organization based in Rhode Island and become a member of NDEO, you are automatically a member of RIDA. This gets you access to a national network of benefits and is highly recommended for dance artists and educators. Head to their website for more information: ndeo.org

Expectations

With a RIDA membership, you have agreed to:

• Uphold RIDA’s mission, vision, and values

• Engage respectfully and inclusively

• Support community-building efforts

• Maintain updated contact information

• Renew membership annually (membership runs on a rolling 12-month term)

• Renewal reminders are sent 60, 30, and 7 days before expiration
