Flamenco/Castenets Workshop w/ Clara Ramona

Flamenco, RI, is thrilled to announce their first 2026 guest maestra: Clara Ramona! An internationally acclaimed dancer and choreographer, Clara brings the passion and elegance of Spanish flamenco to YOU. With decades of global recognition and collaborations with top artists, Clara is ready to share her artistry and technique in an unforgettable workshop series.

The workshops will be on January 16, 17, 23 and 24 at Flamenco RI: 1005 Main Street, Suite 8101.

Teacher bio:
Clara Ramona is an internationally acclaimed flamenco artist who blends tradition with modern creativity. Trained at Boston Conservatory, she became a principal dancer and choreographer for Ramon De Los Reyes Spanish Dance Theater, and also Throughout her career, she collaborated with renowned flamenco artists and her talented sons
Isaac and Nino de Los Reyes, while also serving as faculty at prestigious institutions such as Harvard University and Boston Conservatory. Driven by a passion for nurturing future talent, Clara has expanded flamenco’s reach globally, especially in Asia, during her career. She conducted workshops in countries including Singapore, China, Japan, and Australia, and toured extensively with productions like Carmen. In 2005, she opened her first dance school in the Philippines, later relocating to Hong Kong with an extension in Beijing.
