PROVIDENCE BALLET THEATRE DOES “DANCE ON MAIN ST.”

(East Greenwich, RI) – Providence Ballet Theatre is taking its place on Main Street in East Greenwich, Rhode Island by presenting an evening of dynamic original works, filled with fun, lighthearted movement. “Dance On Main St” will bring contemporary ballet and Modern dance to the refurbished Greenwich Odeum Theatre the weekend of March 18 and 19. Providence Ballet Theatre’s professional dancers will perform works that explore physicality, musicality and poetry in motion. The dancers and choreographers will mix the challenging with the accessible. Members of Providence Ballet Theatre’s Jr. Company will join the professional dancers to demonstrate their wide range of techniques and experiences through Contemporary Ballet and Modern dance. These original performance pieces are choreographed by Artistic Director Eva Marie Pacheco, Michael Bolger, Sara Barney Lustig and Kelly Ann Sloan.

“Dance On Main St.” will be performed at The Greenwich Odeum, 59 Main Street, East Greenwich, RI on Saturday, March 18 at 8:00 pm and Sunday, March 19 at 2:00 pm. General seating tickets are $30 for adults, $20 for seniors, $15 for students and children. Discounts are available for families and groups.
