RI Dance Alliance presents a Day of Dance

DAY of DANCE, sponsored by Bridgewater State University Dance Program, Dance Alliance of Rhode Island, and Massachusetts Dance Education Organization. All events to take place at Rondileau Campus Center at Bridgewater State University, 19 Park Ave Bridgewater, MA.

Directions to BSU from the East:
Take 24 South to exit 16 (RT 106)
Follow Route 106 West to Route 104.
For East Campus, turn left onto Hooper Street.
For West Campus, turn left at traffic island marked Summer Street (Mobil gasoline station on right).
For Chapel Lot, take first left on to Park Avenue; enter at left after third brick building on left.
For Harrington Lot, take second right on to Grove Street; take first left for entrance to Harrington Hall Lot.
Directions from Cape Cod:
Follow I-495 North to Exit 7A (Route 24 North).
Once on Route 24 North, take Exit 15 (first exit, Bridgewater/Raynham - Route 104.
Take Route 104 East to stop sign (approximately three miles).
Turn left and approach rotary in Bridgewater Center.
Follow Directions to BSU Buildings and Parking
Directions from Providence, Rhode Island and Points South:
Follow I-95 North to I-495 South to Exit 7A (Route 24 North).
Once on Route 24 North, take exit 15 (first exit, Bridgewater/Raynham - Route 104.
Take Route 104 East to stop sign (approximately three miles).
Turn left and approach rotary in Bridgewater Center.

To Rondileau Campus Center (19 Park Ave., Bridgewater MA)
Proceed to rotary. Take School Street off rotary. (As you enter rotary, School Street will be straight ahead - you will see the fire station on the left as you enter.)
Take left at end of the street on to Summer Street.
Take first right on to Park Avenue.
Visitor parking for West Campus offices is in the Chapel Lot on the left past the third brick building (Kelly Gymnasium.)
Please park and proceed to the Rondileau Campus Center, the second building on your left as you walk from the parking lot. Registration will be in the foyer opposite the entrance.

Crossing the border to further a Day of Dance education and performing
Dance Alliance of Rhode Island, the Massachusetts Dance Education Organization, and Bridgewater State College are joining forces to provide a festival of dance for teachers and students of our states on January 8, 2012 at Bridgewater State University in Bridgewater, Massachusetts. This will be a one-day event that will include master classes and culminate in a showcase of student performances to share what is happening in dance in our area. We would LOVE to see everyone there in our audience. Tickets are only $5 and the show beings at 4pm. Seven performance groups from RI and MA will be presenting work.
As the first joint venture of these two organizations, MADEO and DARI, both state affiliates of National Dance Education Organization are committed to see Dance as an Art Form and strive to bring quality dance education to our part of New England.
Massachusetts Dance Education Organization is a non-profit dance resource and education organization whose mission is to advance and make accessible the art and education of dance in its many forms for all the people of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. We are an affiliate of the National Dance Education Organization and propose to provide professional support, resources, and networking opportunities for teachers of dance in Massachusetts.
